Organized by Ministry of Commerce, Kingdom of Cambodia, in association with World Trade Fair Ltd. in Hong Kong for organizing the "International Pavilion", The 3^rd Cambodia Gems & Jewelry Fair (3^rd CGJF) will stage at Diamond Island Convention & Exhibition Centre from 16-19 June, 2011. With a new and spacious venue, the 4-day exhibition is expected an increase of 30% in participation (both exhibitors and visitors), attracting local and international key jewelry & gemstone manufacturers and suppliers to explore the untapped market potential. Last year’s CGJF had attracted 4,138 visitors (119 international visitors and 4,019 local buyers which were occupying 2.88% and 97.12% respectively). CGJF is the only jewelry show in Cambodia that caters to both trade and public. Local importers, wholesalers and shop mangers reckon that the annual CGJF is an ideal jewelry sourcing platform with aplenty networking opportunities. And the concurrent excellent jewelry catwalks and singing performances have attracted the jewelry collectors and high-end consumers to visit and buy at the Exhibition. By the latest report from World Bank, Cambodia’s GDP growth in 2010 remained steady at 4.9 percent, with a forecast of 6.0 percent and 6.5 percent for 2011 and 2012 respectively. Thanks to flourishing economic growth of the country and roaring success of last year’s CGJF, international exhibitors mainly from China Hong Kong, Malaysia, Israel and Thailand have all confirmed their participation with 3^rd CGJF. “The 2^nd CGJF gave us a golden opportunity to market our products to hundreds of top quality customers and officials,” Ms Kan, Manager, Golden Master Jewellery Ltd., a renowned finished jewelry manufacturer in Hong Kong commented on the Exhibition. Mr. Yoram Bernstein, Israel-based Z. Y. Bernstein Ltd., also remarked that, “Customs formalities were easy.
